CACSA Holds 2018 Summer Session Commencement in City 成都美国海外留学中心夏季学期结业典礼在蓉举行
The Chengdu American Center for Study Abroad (CACSA) held the commencement for its 2018 summer session July 3 on Huaxi Campus, Sichuan University (SCU).

As the first innovative program for studying abroad in China, the center was co-established by the Chengdu Municipal Government and Global Maximum Educational Opportunities Inc. (G-MEO) in 2012. The former provides the center, inside the SCU's Huaxi Campus, with part of the facilities, teaching equipment and devices, policy support as well as special scholarships for students.
成都美国海外留学中心成立于2012年，由成都市政府和美国G-MEO国际教育集团共同创建，是中国首个创新型来华留学中心。该中心大楼坐落于四川大学华西校区内，由成都市人民政府提供部分配套基础设施、教学条件、政策支持和专项奖学金。
Mr. Jim Mullinax, Consul General of the Consulate General of the United States of America in Chengdu, attended the commencement and conferred certificates to 79 students.
据了解，成都美国海外留学中心2018年度夏季学期（第一期）共招收79名学生。美国驻成都总领事馆总领事林杰伟（Jim Mullinax）先生出席结业典礼，并为学生颁发结业证书。
While addressing the students, Mr. Mullinax shared his experience of studying in Chengdu in 1990 and congratulated them on their graduation from the session. He hoped that they would maintain an interest in the Chinese culture and serve as "cultural ambassadors" for Sino-US friendship, so as to build a bridge of further cooperation between the two countries.
林杰伟先生在致辞中分享了他1990年来成都学习的经历，并对出席典礼的学生顺利毕业表示祝贺。林杰伟先生希望其继续保持对中国文化的兴趣，努力成为中美友谊的“文化大使”，架起两国合作的桥梁。
